During recent years the worldwide pharmaceutical industry has increasingly tended to develop highly potent molecules (HPAPIs): the global API market grew constantly by 5.1% from 2007 to 2020 and an annual expansion of 8.7% is forecast from 2022 to 2027.
This places even more focus not only on GMP quality requirements, but also on occupational safety and environmental protection regulations.
For this reason Techniconsult has decided to create a specific Business Unit dedicated to Containment Test & Monitoring which verifies containment performance in the production of active substances, intermediates and preparations, to guarantee the safety and protection of staff, products (cross-contamination) and the environment.
The new department’s team is led by Michele Grassi who has more than fifteen years’ experience in the field of industrial hygiene, environmental monitoring, and containment assessment in chemical and pharmaceutical companies.
Thanks to his experience, during which he has acquired a good knowledge of different types of processes, containment solutions and process equipment, today he is able to offer customized solutions to every type of process.
The synergy of the group allows to offer not just test & monitoring activities on-site, but also consulting activities, like Risk Assesments and the possibility to implement the identified solutions.
